The Phoenix Group | Rise With Us
I finished the Phoenix Group video that I’ve been working on as my thesis project to test for 5th degree black belt. It was the culmination of about 6 months of work during evenings, weekends and lunch breaks. I learned a lot about working in 3D, a lot about Redshift, and a little about Pixel Plow.

This was my first entirely 3D spot that I worked on/completed end-to-end on my own: concept, writing, planning, pre-production, design and animation, and post-production. I feel good about how it came out — definitely lots learned, but still something I’m proud of.
Here are some test frames, storyboards and a couple unused concepts. I’ll follow up with a BTS/breakdown video and maybe a couple short tips with things I learned on this project.
